Privacy notice

This notice explains how Fable Systems handles personal information when you visit the Correl website, request a demonstration or use a Correl workspace.

Effective 29 July 2026

Who is responsible

Fable Systems is the controller for contact information collected through this website and for its own sales, account administration, security and support records. A Correl customer is normally the controller for personal information that its authorised users place in its workspace; Fable Systems processes that information under the customer’s instructions and commercial agreement.

Privacy contact: support@fablecorrel.com

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Correl, we may collect:

  • your name, work email, role, company, country and the information included in a demo request;
  • workspace identity, team, role, territory, permission and authentication records;
  • customer relationship data that authorised workspace users enter, import or connect to Correl;
  • support correspondence, implementation decisions and commercial account records;
  • security, audit and service records such as sign-in time, request metadata and changes made; and
  • billing status and provider references needed to administer a subscription.

Please do not include special category information, payment card details or confidential customer data in the public demo-request form.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

Responding to a request
To arrange and prepare a requested demonstration or commercial discussion. We rely on steps you ask us to take before a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Providing Correl
To create and operate a workspace, authenticate users, deliver contracted features, provide support and administer billing. We rely on contract and our legitimate interests in operating the service.
Security, audit and improvement
To prevent abuse, investigate faults, preserve accountable history and improve reliability. We rely on legitimate interests and, where applicable, legal obligations.
Direct marketing
We do not enrol a demo requester into general marketing merely because they submit the form. If we send direct marketing, we rely on consent or another lawful basis permitted for that contact and communication, and provide an opt-out.

Who receives information

Access is limited to authorised Fable Systems personnel and service providers that support hosting, communications, identity, billing, customer support, security and professional advice. Customer workspace administrators control access within their own organisation. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights or in connection with a properly managed corporate transaction.

Provider and data-location commitments for a subscribed workspace are set out in the applicable order form, data processing terms and implementation record. Where a restricted international transfer needs a safeguard, the applicable agreement identifies that safeguard and how to request a copy.

How long we keep it

We keep information only while it is needed for the purpose described above, the customer’s documented retention instructions, security and audit requirements, or legal claims and obligations. Demo enquiries that do not progress are reviewed and removed when they are no longer needed. A minimal suppression record may be retained when necessary to honour an opt-out. Contract, billing and audit records may need to be kept for longer than ordinary account content.

Security and cookies

Correl uses access controls, audit records, encrypted network transport and controlled operational procedures appropriate to the service. No internet service can promise absolute security.

The public marketing pages do not set analytics or advertising cookies. The Correl application uses strictly necessary session and security cookies to sign users in and protect authenticated actions. Connected identity and communications providers may operate their own services under their notices.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your personal information, and to object to processing. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. These rights can be limited by exemptions or another lawful requirement.

You can object to direct marketing at any time. Email support@fablecorrel.com. We will stop the marketing use and may keep a minimal suppression record so the request continues to be honoured.

If Correl holds your information for a customer, contact that customer first because it controls the workspace record. You can also contact Fable Systems and we will route the request appropriately.

Questions and complaints

Contact support@fablecorrel.com with a privacy question or request. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, or to the data protection authority where you live or work if another authority is applicable.

Changes to this notice

We update this page when our handling of personal information changes. Material changes will be brought to the attention of affected customers or users through an appropriate service or contractual channel.
